Ear infection?

No. I have cervical stenosis so I'm guessing it's due to nerves in or near my neck.. Doctors has upped my tablets so another week on these and see if there's any improvements. Thanks xx

I'd never heard of cervical stenosis before, a quick search on Google and all is revealed.

I've had ballance issues when I had an ear infection. .. the vertigo/ falling feeling was terrible. ... I thought I was having a heart attack, it felt as if the floor was collapsing and I was falling into a hole... I never would have belived an ear infection could have caused such a reaction. All I did was look up and the next thing I was on all fours.

I hope your medication change helps.

Steve.

Yeah that's the feelings I have too.. It's dreadful isn't it.. Current medication is slightly improving it. But after 8 days now it's becoming annoying. Did you take medication or have a injection xx

If I remember rightly I had antibiotics.

Still took a few days to go away though.

I learned that as long as I didn't move my head to fast i could keep the symptoms at bay.

Thinking about it now the symptoms also came on when I was lying down to sleep. .. dizxy to the point of feeling sick.

Mine only lasted 3 days last time. Pretty much doing nothing at the minute so symptoms are not as bad. Night time is worse during sleep but I was waking with pain from the stenosis anyway. Thanks xx

i have been having these spells of dizziness especially when my head hits the pillow, its awful, it even happens if i turn over to my other side, this started three months into my chemo which finished just over three weeks ago, the onc said it was low blood pressure so took me off my ramipril, that has made no difference at all, so they sent me for a ct of the brain and that came back normal, so not sure whats causing it, but i don't dare to go out on my own.

Aww bless you..Sorry to hear Maybe a time to ask your gp for some medication.. Prochloriazine is only a short term relief option but betahistine is a option for much longer term. I know chemo has alot of nasty side effects. Wishing you well in your recovery xx
