Chronic shoulder pain

Hi I have had this condition for nearly a year now. It is getting no better. Had an X Ray done only showing wear n year. I feel it it just more than this as it feels unstable. Any ideas how to get the Dr. to take it further. Making life very difficult what with all my other problems

I am not joking when I tell you this. Say you heard your shoulder "pop" when you reached round to wipe your bottom! Say you have trouble reaching round now. That should result it getting an ultrasound! That is actually how I tore my shoulder muscle. Too much information? I had an ultrasound and an X-Ray to confirm this. My biceps also had a tear down it. That was done by something else though.I am now on painkillers and have had a cortisone injection but because of my age and other medical conditions I cannot have an operation on it.

Poor you I hope it feels better. I was told shoulder replacements don't work, the funny part of that statement I did not bring up that subject????

I was in your situation and after a year I'd had enough so was pretty demanding on my last visit. A mri was arranged and now have the reason behind the pain. Xray and ultra sound did not show any problems so a mri is a must x

Thank you I will try and be more forceful when I see my Dr. next week
