wrist pain

hi my wrist pain is so bad right now x rays next week then seeing the consultant but feeling worried what the bones are like my RA seems very active again just in my wrists

any advise why just in the one place

Have you been wearing wrist splints during the day? I really know very little about RA but someone I used to know with RA wore wrist splints. I wore them for a time when I had wrist and hand pain and they did help me. But my pain was caused by Osteoporosis drugs. Not RA. Which I don't have.

just wondering if there is an RA community on this site or an Arthritis one where you may get more replies.

yes been wearing day wrist supports also got plastic night ones made byy the hospital. been using ice wraps been helping a little seen consultant ttoday now on methotrixate injections oh joy

I've found Arthritis Action community on here and have joined. There are postings on there about RA. hope this helps
