Hi Katie, I signed up on Friday, and as I've just been explaining to Evegrace, I am pleasently suprised that I'm able to understand the medicines prescribed, understand symptoms that I've never linked as a side effect to the medication, my GP on Monday, March 30th 2015 confirmed that Pregabalin aka Lyrica did indeed cause weight gain..... I thought it was lack of excercise, and microwave meals LOL.!.

Yes my GP is now arr a nging a blood test so I will be ch as nging my diet too!

It e ould be great if I had a chef to pop in once a day... however microwave meals are unhealthy cheap, and require less perching!

Kind regards 😇

Hello glad you came back to chat, there are lots of tablets that cause weight gain not least steroids used for lung disease. The other culprit is inactivity which isn't so easy to solve. Microwave meals are an easy option and there are companies who deliver to the door and also supply microwaves to cook the meal. Afraid food is my downfall causing some weight increase. So good luck with the changes.

If it is your first visit welcome, If you visit regular you do not need to report you are here.

Welcome. all the best,

BOB

Aw Bless Spoon39, I can honestly say ive had the patches in the past but never where I couldnt reach, that would have driven me onto the pavement as you suggested you were tempted to grab a stranger!

Make a note.. back sratcher... would you have been able to pull it off with something like that?

Kindest regards

Ps the news todat paracetamol does not help back pain, so only the other ingredient which is 8mg of Codeine in every 500mg of paracetamol.we hich make up cocodamol, nope it wouldn't help me either!

Kind regards, 🌂 More Rain Forcast!

Good Morning Eve,

I'm also new to "Health Unlocked". I read several letters that had been posted and I was genuinely suprised, I immediately recognised the names of medication and symptoms, side effects etcetc, it is just too good a site to pass up, and for every answer I've found... I am more than pleased to advise others if asked about medication and side effects and if I think I may have something to say. I must also complete my profile and start writing. Seriously pregabalin is a n as me I've noticed alot aka lyrica, so yes the name Pregabalin springs to mind, great shame that it cant help me spribg to my feet, lol!.

Kind regards
