24 hour pain

I have been taking pain killers for years now and still suffer I've had operations on my spine and shoulder to no avail where do I go next ? I take longtec 40mg tamadol slow release, pregabalin, Amitriptyline Naproxen and paracetamol I've just managed to get my consultant to refer me to Rheumatology dept as I have deep pain in my bones and joints so hopefully they might be able to help. I'm sure I am not the only person that suffers like this but all they want to do is increase my tablets. Where do I go next

These cause me pain and I have tried a variety of meds to help me deal with it. I have a great GP and she has prescribed morphine patches which work for me. Consider keeping a pain diary for a week. Record the level of pain (1-10), the meds you have taken as well as other things such as rest, gentle exercise etc. then record what triggered the pain e.g. Walking too much, putting weight on the joint. This may help you to identify what you need to stop doing and what you need to do more of. I hope this helps and that you experience a reduction in your pain. All the best.
