Hi every one I'm a newbie is that when it's my 1st time on here ? I've got an under active thyroid and been taking 175 mg of thyroxine ,the thing is I don't understand all the T3 T2 what do they mean.Iv been on 175mg for over 12 yrs now thank you if some one could explain to me what they mean thanks polly

Hi Polly your in the same boat as me. You should really be on the thyroid site. They are really helpful and knowledgeable about thyroid problems. But if you ever get to understand it your a better women than me. If you put your blood tests up for them someone will read them for you and give you explanation on them. Hope that's of some help.

Check out the thyroiduk website - they are an absolutely excellent support group, and I think they have some kind of helpline as well.
