Too late now but NHS24 do have a duty dentist but they only work normal hours. You could ring and see if they could advice.

Oil of cloves on the tooth kills everything.

Ibroprofen tabs full strength work. Duty chemist for them.

Hope this may help

Hi

Not sure where you are but I find anbesol.......is excellent. Rubbed on the gum and round the tooth.

Its an antiseptic and anaesthetic......I found it for teething when the children were little then from there I used it for ulcers in my mouth and occasionally I've used it for toothache.....anything is worth a try isn't it?

I'm in the UK

Hope you can have a decent Christmas regardless of it

Love

I have used this for strep throat for the kids and myself. Works excellent.. use finger or q tip to apply.. The gel works best for this type of thing..

If you make sure you eat something and take BRUFEN AFTER FOOD ( difficult with throbbing jaw ) and it got nothing else in like paracetamol you will be fine with BRUFEN maximum dose in 24 hour just check on box and co- codamol together are fine so no worries again check max dose in 24 hours. ORAGEL is amazing stuff local anaesthetic sell in boots when open , but if you struggle and in agony you can still ring 111 dr would still help as pain is pain . Hope your ok till dentist tommorrow good luck love squeak xx

Clove oil very good

Clove oil directly on the tooth. Large doses (5,000 mg/tsp) of vitamin C powder from local health food store will help with infection also. Mixed in juice it's still very tart. Take tsp full every hour for 4 to 6 hrs or until bile tolerance (false diarrhea). Happy holidays!

Whiskey numbs the mouth when you have tooth ache just swill it around the effected area

always use clove oil works wonders for me

hi dear, a few drops of Tea Tree Oil directly on tooth. U will be better. Happy Holiday!

Hello

To get treatment at holiday times when dentists are closed you need to call the emergency line and they will direct you to either a open Emergency centre or to one that is open at given times

Dental Hospitals generally are open for emergencies although you may need to wait around for an appointment.

A Community Dentist may be attached to a hospital so you may be seen there

If all fails you would need to purchase several products that may help you get some relief. Cotton buds and cotton wool, Oil of cloves. Clean the problem area and then dampen the cotton wool with the clove oil insert it into the tooth hole

If ever a tooth falls out soak it in milk and take it down to a dentist ASAP.

A further thing you can do is go down to Boots or large Chemist and purchase a Emergency Dentist kit.

That contains all you need to put in a temporary filling and reduce the pain. These kits are used when going on holiday when visiting strange places, so they contain disposable dental tools and needles so you can supply the third world countries with the tools to treat you, preventing AIDS etc. When you fill the tooth and get home see your Dentist ASAP WHEN YOU GET HOME. For pain use Paracetamol or Paracodon.
