Hi all, was wondering if some1 can help me.... - Pain Concern
Hi all, was wondering if some1 can help me....
I'm the original rice krispies woman with so many joints that go snap, crackle and pop, that I always feel its going to be really embarrassing in public, though I don't think many people ever really hear it. Mine are from spondyloarthritis, which is an inflammatory arthritis (like RA, but a bit different, as it primarily affects the spine). You can also get that kind of popping cracking joint with osteoarthritis when the joint has dried out and doesn't have enough lubrication, and probably for a whole lot of other reasons that I haven't a clue about (as I'm not a doctor).
Your best bet is to ask to be assessed by a rheumatologist first, and if they can't find any signs of inflammatory arthritis, then an orthopaedic doctor. Ask your GP to refer you, but make sure you tell them how bad it really is getting, and particularly about the shooting pains - could be that a nerve is getting a bit compressed somewhere.
Hello
Whit this if not already you really need to see your GP, and possibly see a Rheumatologist,
You will need to have scans and Xrays
Good luck

Hi Weelamb,
Sorry to hear about your difficulties. I'm glad you felt able to contact the forum for support and advice.
In terms of the advice given, may I suggest that you request a website link from Duncan regarding Dr. Oraede, do some thorough research and speak to as many people as possible before undertaking any courses of treatment. I'm sorry if I sound overcautious but I've known a number of people who have gone down this 'non-conventional route and suffered as a consequence.
As we're all different, some may respond to the methodologies used better than others but I would definitely err on the side of caution. There is no harm in doing further research or investigation and if you do decide to go with Dr. Oraede, it will, at the very least, be a well informed decision.
As B.o.B said, do go back to your GP and perhaps a referral to a consultant. Continue to push for all the help, advice and information you are entitled to.
Let us know how you get on - we're all rooting for you.
Stay Positive, Stay Strong.
PS -
Duncan, please do not be offended. I've just had a lot of experience in this area of work and I'm possibly somewhat wary and not sure how your HIV disease relates to Weelamb's complaints although I do note from your post that you claim your doctor is able to cure Everything. In my mind, this ability is only really attributed to God so I hope you can understand my anxieties about your post. Having said that, congratulations on your cure and being pain-free. It explains why you are keen to promote his services. Please provide us with a website link.
All the best
Weelamb might you have hypermobility syndrome? Go to the HMSA site and check it out.
