joint pain
hi aysha, i've just started to get this too, but it comes and goes. when it's there, it's excrutiating. do hope somebody out there as anybody who has any answers.....
went to A&E the other day, no scans just moving of my leg that really hurt. was told it maybe some tissue damage and was given anti-inflammatory pain still very much the same, using a walking stick to catch me in case i fall as when the pain heats i all most buckal up and my leg gives way because it hurts so much. thank u for ur response, sorry to hear ur suffering too.
Hi Aysha This may sound a bit silly but I had this problem and when I was discussing this with my friend she told me it was nothing to do with my leg but a problem with my hip as she had had the same problem. I went to see my doctor and I was sent for an xray and sure enough I had arthritis in my hip. If I were you I would go see my doctor as the winter is only around the corner and when you get cold the pain is really bad. Hope you get sorted Regards Triciaj.
Hi yes my thoughts were arthritis of the hip which can be diagnosed by e-ray or possibly sciatica which can start in the inside thigh/groin area too.

i have had sciatica pain but that pains shoots all the way down my leg, however this pain is just in the groin area,
Aysha 73 (U don't look it) I have had similar pains down my leg caused by pressure on the sciatica nerve where it passes through the central nervous system in the spinal column (so I was told) I had a laminectomy in 1973 and luckily it cured me. For the past 5 years I have had pain in my groins which increased the further I walked, until I sat and rested, then came back when I started walking again. I was diagnosed with hip problems, which would need to be replaced after40 months with the pain getting worse the diagnoses was changed to a spine problem. I am no Dr but it seems these pain's are caused by various problems which are difficult to isolate due to pain transference, and it seems to take a while to diagnose the correct cause.to enable the correct treatment. Once after suffering severe back pain, and being treated in hospital, I fell taking a shower, I had lot's of bruising but the pain completely disappeared, however my Dr was not prepared to recommend this as a form of treatment.
Best of luck to all you back and joint pain sufferer's
Kind regards

I am having the exact same trouble! I recently had blood tests for arthritis which proved negative. My GP prescribed anti-inflammatories which I've been taking for 4 days now. The pain has dramatically reduced but I intend to wait a couple of weeks before I attempt any running again.
just got to the bottom of the page and realized i could have sent one mess to all. Ops sorry my bad.
