3 weeks ago I had surgical staging, radical hysterectomy and debulking. Thankfully everything went fine with the surgery and staging remains at 1C, with no traces or cells found in the biopsies. All good. Still have to have chemo, which starts next week, but also just had a reading of 400 on my ca125 3 weeks post op when pre op it was 50.
Anyone had similar or can enlighten me as to why this would happen?
Thanks loads

Following surgery your CA125 does go up. Don't forget CA125 measures all inflamation not just that through secreted proteins of ovarian cancer. Hopefully, as the surgery setlles down, so will your CA125.
