Thanks to you all for your support last week.
I saw my wonderful oncologist today 9 weeks post chemo. My ct scan afortnight ago showed stable disease. So great news. ca125 last week showed a drop to 728 from 13000. Last year it was 4000. Had chemo every year for 5 years and have a good quality of life. So hang on in there those of you who feel it's the end when you relapse you just don't know.
My lovely NHS oncologist doesn't want to see me until the end of January (when I get my genetic testing results) unless I have any problems in which case she will see me straight away.
I asked her what options are still available to me if required. She suggested that we could look at further carboplatin or topotecan or trials. She said she would not hesitate to refer me to the Marsden or John radcliffe if necessary. How lucky am I to have her fighting for me.
Good luck to all of you and especially those awaiting results or facing chemo
Love Suex
