Faithful Friend

This is Raffles, our beagle, who once looked very much like little Alfie! He has been comforting, fun, companianable and loving (as well as other less positive things!) during the two years we have had him, and especially while I have been ill.

He's adorable Monique. My sister had a beagle for a long time and she was so affectionate and loyal. She now has a cocker spaniel who is also affectionate but a right tearaway. My daughter has a rottweiller who, although enormous, is a big softy and I love him to bits and often 'dog sit', as I also do for my son, who has a westie. Dogs are so much a part of our family life (we had a little yorkshire terrier for 20 years!). They demand so little (most of the time that is!) but give so much back.
