Need advice for a friend
If I were to advise her, I would say ring the Eve Appeal. Jo’s Trust, which used to support women with cervical cancer has shut down, sadly.
The Eve Appeal are very supportive however. Their website is full of reliable information and I’ve copied a bit from it below:
So whether you’ve been diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer, you’re worried about any gynae symptoms you or one of your friends has been having, or a friend or family member of yours has been diagnosed with a gynae cancer – Ask Eve is here to answer any of your questions.
To contact the service please call us on 0808 802 0019 – which is free to call from landlines and mobile phones within the UK and does not appear on itemised bills – or get in touch via email nurse@eveappeal.org.uk.
I hope that your friend can get some answers.

Just to second Wendy, I actually spoke to the nurse at the Eve Appeal (forgot her name, chemo brain) she is a very experienced gynae-oncology nurse, lovely and no-nonsense.
Good Luck
