Been a bit down lately with family worries on my mind. But today the sun has been shining, My dear husband and I had a lovely lunch with great friends and then we watched the olympic torch coming through our small town. Never dreamt I would see that
Managed to see my Mum and get my hair cut. Also we spent this afternoon BBQing in the shade. I tasted steak, salmon and 4 types of sausages (only little bites) whilst hubby polished off the rest. It was our first BBQ so lots of fun. Vomiting isn't too bad at the moment - once every 24 hours (touch wood) and then when I take tablets. So I am not taking all the tablets I should. Injection of steroid and sepositaries of domperidone seem to be keeping the worst at bay for the mo.
So yes, a good day here too.
I am seeing the olympic torch on Thursday all being well. They are wheeling me down to the bottom of the lane where it should pass.
Love Lizzie

Hi Lizzie
Am sooo pleased that you have had a better day today and been able to get out and have fun with the family. And even enjoyed some nibbles. Great.
Good too that the vomiting is more under control, nausea and vomiting pulls you down so much.
Wow I'm delighted to hear news from both of you and to hear your friends and husbands are looking after you so well. That really did make me happy. I bet those little mouthfuls did you no end of good Lizzie.
I went to see my GP today and we had a good belly laugh. It's a shame I have to be ill to see him.
The weather was quite mediterranean in Cardiff so lots of tea in the sunshine for me. The Olympic torch is making its way through Cardiff later this week and I've been asked to litter pick to make the place beautiful for the event.
Hope there's lots more posts about what made us happy today.

Lovely day in Bognor today too. Hubby walked down the each, but I drove and met him for an ice cream, and a little walk looking at the sea.Lovely please can we have some days like this.
Lovely to hear you have had a good day, Sue and Lizzie.
The food must have tasted good. Glad you enjoyed the Olympic Torch experience, Sue and I do hope you can get to see the Torch near your place, Lizzie .... I have to admit I've been a bit "bah, humbug" about it all so far
I had a good day with my Mum too, her first step outside the door for 10 weeks, if you discount four ambulance trips!
Sue, I hope the good days keep going on a roll now and Lizzie, I hope that you're managing to feel a bit more comfortable tonight.
So glad you had a fun day with the family. I did, too. Families, ........ where would we be without them?
So did I ! Feeling better, not so tired, and went out for lunch in a lovely pub by the river. We were able to sit outside in the sun. Even had enough energy to do a little gardening when I got back.
