Lymph nodes reoccurance

I had surgery last year for 2nd reoccurance a nodule near pancreas i spent 5 weeks in hospital due to infections. First 3 monthly scan was clear and 2nd one showed few lymph nodes bit bigger. Im due scan in May im on watch and wait possible chemotherapy at some point. Has anyone had nodes removed or other treatment than chemotherapy? Take care xx

Hi, my 2nd surgery was to remove para aortic lymph nodes. like you I had post surgical complications, My ca125 was going up from around 7 months later, scan at 10 months showed it was back in the same area. In hind sight the surgery wasn’t probably the right option for me, but at the time I thought it was worth a go.

I’ve just finished a course of radiotherapy on my supra clavicle lymph node. I’m awaiting a scan to see if this was helpful. If the news is good I’ll have further radiotherapy on the para aortic nodes x

my first recurrence was surgery to remove some inguinal lymph nodes in groin in 2218 There were complications after surgery. Then in 2223 I had stereotactic radiotherapy to deal with a lymph node near aorta. The lymph node hahad shrunk back to normal size months later.
