Laparoscopy for large possibly borderline cyst, frozen section

I’ve been diagnosed with a large (now 17cm) mucinous cyst - most likely benign or borderline. Has anyone had a similar or larger cyst (plus ovary) removed via keyhole surgery? And have you had a frozen section? I’ve decided against having a hysterectomy unless essential. My consultant has advised that frozen sections are less accurate in the case of MBOTs, if that if what I have. Thank you!

But will they do a frozen, notwithstanding the less accuracy w mucinous or borderline? How do they know prior to surgery that it’s likely borderline or mucous? Ask all the questions.
