I have been taking Nariparib for around a year. I am going to Thailand for Xmas and am booked in to get the hepatitis A, hep B, tetanus and typhoid jab. Does anyone know if it is safe for me to get these jabs? I’ve just read that I should avoid live vaccinations while on Nariparib….

You should check with your team but I think typhoid is a live vaccine. Not sure about tetanus . You might be able to ask the pharmacy you get the Niraparib from.
Thank you for your post. I've looked on the Macmillan website and they list the hepatitis A&B and tetanus as inactivated. For typhoid they list the capsule as live and the injection as inactivated. The information is on their website here: macmillan.org.uk/cancer-inf...
As delia2 said, please do check with your medical team regarding any vaccinations, but I hope this information is helpful. We also have a travel booklet here: ovacome.org.uk/travelling-a... and a webinar on travel insurance here: youtube.com/watch?v=vmP4FR1... if these are of any interest.
