CT scan

Dear all,

my mum just got the result of her CT scan as her marker rose in the past months to 84. The CT scan showed only several enlardged lymph nodes, but nothing on her organs in the abdomen area, no ascites.

What do you think that the next step is going to be?

Thank you

They might want to watch and wait. And repeat the tests again in 3 months.

Thank you. However, they stated they are pathalogical and there are few of them

Depends on her history really. They might offer chemotherapy - you'll have to wait and see.

thank you; these lymhph nodes are patalogical: bilaterally inguinal, iliac, along the aorta, hepatoduodenal, in the mesentery.

Typically, with lymph node involvement as I've had a biopsy is done to see if it's the same subtype which it typically is then followed by chemo if your mom is 6 months out from frontline treatment, she would be deemed platinum sensitive I'm in the states, but carbo/taxol is typically recommended.
