Hi I had my first ct scan after having 6 rounds of carboplatin/taxol. My scan came back good but they said at the dome of my liver is 2 subcentimeter hydrodensities. They said it was too small for cross sectional imaging. They think it may be small cysts. Anyone have something similar to this?
Thanks!

My first scan after chemo and radiation showed several spots my doctors said were still lighting up. They would not pronounce me NED. They also said and I a tremendous amount of radiation damage. It took almost a full year before I heard NED. Not sure if we are similar but sounds like it could be. I will celebrate my three year diagnosis date on April 15. Wishing you well. Hang in there.
My base line scan showed cyst on one kidney but no-one seemed concerned about it. I've not heard of hydrodensities; are they different to cysts? Congratulations on getting to the end of treatment and hope all goes well from now on.
And congratulations Jane too. Another milestone reached.
Thanks Val! I asked my doctor and he said that they are probably small cysts.
Congrats on completing treatment and a good scan. I have never heard of hydrodensities it is probably a medical term for non specific cysts. Perhaps you can ring the Ovacome Nurse or a Macmillan Nurse who would know these terms in detail. I wish you well and a very long remission
