potential OC?

Hello. I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice or has experienced anything similar. In October I had surgery to remove 2 large cysts in both of my ovaries and endometriosis/ adhesions in my pelvis. The dr then wanted to put me on the contraceptive pill to stop the pain I was getting with my period from the endometriosis. Before I agreed to that I asked for a TVS to check the ovary again as something didnt feel right and I was glad I did as there was a new cyst (small) and hydrosalpinx of the fallopian tube. Fast forward to today, 2 weeks of antibiotics to see if the fallopian tube was due to an infection and 2 weeks to just wait and today I have had another TVS. This scan showed the ovarian cyst looking all kinds of strange and it had a lot of blue and red flows on it. She struggled to find the fallopian tube and then couldn’t decide whether or not she could see the fallopian tube smaller or whether it was free fluid. I guess my question is….after a lot of googling, has anyone had a similar experience and it has turned out to be OC. I have every OC symptoms under the sun but also endometriosis. I have also been suffering with terrible migraines for the past week and I’ve never had that before. Thank you

Hello SweetRemy

Thank you for your post. I'm sorry you haven't received any replies yet. The signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer can also be symptoms of other more common and less serious conditions. I hope that you have been able to discuss your worries with your doctor and have some further information regarding your scan findings.

We are here to support you so please do get in touch with us if it would help to talk anything through.

We're here Monday-Friday 10am-5pm. You can private message us through this forum, email support@ovacome.org.uk and call 0800 008 7054.

Best wishes
