*NEW online session - 6th February* Our stories: having a hereditary increased risk of ovarian cancer

Good morning all,

On the 6th February at 2:00pm, Ovacome will be hosting the next in the 'Our stories' series, where we are joined by member speakers who will share their experiences of one specific aspect of living with a diagnosis.

This session will feature Ovacome members Hilary and Sue, who will share their experiences of having a hereditary increased risk of ovarian cancer (Lynch syndrome and BRCA).

Sue let us know why she wanted to share her experience with the Ovacome community: 'I have a BRCA gene change, and I wanted to take part in the webinar because I know some people are unsure about getting tested and telling their families, but I’ve never had such worries. I’d like to share what I consider to be quite a positive story'.

After our speakers have shared their personal experiences, we will open up the session for discussion and attendees will be able to ask the speakers questions. As with all of our sessions, there is no requirement to participate and you can simply sit in and listen to others if you would prefer.
