Just started chemo again mastactiic high grade serious carcidoma on ovarian mass after 18m break recurrence had letter saying it spread I have chronic kidney disease ca123 195 right enlarged mass on ovary may have to have spleen removed not good read I am trying to decide as the letter says chemo 4 r then look at spleen try remove if not more chemo 4 more then on parp inhibitors Want to know should I take bit life I got left hoping it allows me do things or cary on in hope I get more quality time anyone any advice can't get much off professionals I want to make in formed decision sorry go on just hope I can get bit advice good luck too all on here horrible disease

I think it gets more and more difficult to answer this question!

We are all different and we react differently to chemo.

Maybe wait and see what the results are after chemo 4 and how you feel in yourself?

Getting rid of the cancer is beneficial as it allows chemo to work better but I can see your point of view.

Talk to them about how they would do the operation, how long will it take to heal?

Only you can decide if it’s something you want to go for because only you can say what is important to you. What plans do you have? How can the treatment fit round what you want to do?
