I have made friends and a connection with one of our Teal ladies over the last few months. She is always positive caring and gracious with her support especially when new comers come on and are fearful of the future. She is always quick to respond in an encouraging manner. She is facing the possibility of gaining her Teal Wings in the following few day or week. I am not saying who she is but she has helped many of you and of course myself to keep fighting and staying the course .
please please send an encouraging message for no pain and time with her beloved family and friends. I love you girlfriend! You know my time is near as well!

That is very sad news and I do indeed send as many kind and peaceful vibes that I can. Your post however has left me wondering who this is as I think all the time about people who I used to identify with, who just disappear. Some I knew about because I had grown close to them e.g. Laura, Angela, Ann but others just go off radar which is equally sad. I wish there was some algorithm that could let us know. Having said that maybe it’s a good thing we don’t know as it would be demoralising. I don’t know. I’m just wondering now who this is and fighting off negative thoughts. This blasted disease.
I know exactly what you mean I will be there in a couple of months myself I am a true statistic been on chemo three and a 1/2 years straight and it keeps coming back stronger raging more and more it is now in two months taken over my liver and I fear I will not make my daughters Master's degree graduation in May. There just isn't anything that stops plain no mutation HGS cancer unless you are one of the lucky ones ..........I will not survive to even 5 years it is not a chronic disease for those of us who don't have any receptors, enzymes, folate, mutations ...............NOTHING so sad
but you have been so positive. Wasn’t it you defiantly going on holiday? Gave me courage to do the same. Don’t give up. Keep fighting you may surprise yourself. X
Yes it was they gave me chemo in-between and transfusions to get us to our travels We went to Galapagos Islands, Sicily, Portugal, and Ireland plus some smaller trips too. All in 2022 because I knew I was living on borrowed time. My husband and I made great memories! Thank you so much for remembering me and for the encouragement !

Thank you, Summergold for reaching out to me across the miles. I know of all the wise protections regarding anonymity, but Summergold reached out to me and I responded. I think we both needed to talk to some who truly understands this wicked disease. We became pen pals and then we called and just talked (and talked some more). We are so close on our parallel paths, and we are pulling for each other. Summergold has given me strength where I thought I had no strength left. I love the photo of Summergold astride that gorgeous black horse in front of the Irish castle, her fist raised in triumph! My dear Summergold, I will always see that whenever I think of you, my dear teal sister. I want to thank all the ladies for almost three years of warm support. The best to all as I move toward the next galaxy!
So sorry to hear you are heading towards the end of your race with this terrible disease and so pleased you have found solace and a bond with each other. These connections are so important and give us the strength to carry on each day xx. You have both been a tremendous support to others along the way and have made such a difference xxx
thank you Diane it is difficult talking about this awful disease with people who expect you do chemo and you are all better Sashay and I are on similar time lines I am just wanting to be able to see my daughter graduate with her Masters degree in Bio Medical Ethics May 20 fighting to stay alive but my doctors don’t have anything more to offer
Heartbreaking just go to trials they said I but they have never lifted a finger on what trials or trial may work for me
