My wonderful mum x

Just a note to let you all know that my wonderful wonderful mum passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning. She was first diagnosed with OC only 18 months ago so we had hoped for many more years with her than we got. She went into hospital 10 days before Christmas to have her stents re-done - we all thought it was a simple op and we'd have her home for Christmas. There were some complications and on boxing day we were told that actually mum could no longer eat, so we could expect that within 2 weeks she'd no longer be with us. We got her home, and with her strong heart and all our love she managed to hang on for an amazingly long time. No one will ever know me like she did, and whilst we're all heartbroken, knowing how much she loved us will get us through. I'd like to thank this site and all the incredible ladies on it. I sincerely wish each and every one of you good health and happiness, and I will be raising as much money as I can for Ovarian Cancer research in the next year and beyond. One day we will beat it for good. xx

So sorry to hear about your Mum, when my wife died last August i was glad to have our 3 daughters to lean on, and for them to lean on me. There are not really any words that help, but knowing people are thinking of you and feeling your pain is always a comfort. Take good care. Laurence x.

Dear Angela

All love to you and we know how hard this must be. It is a horrible disease, we don't why we get it and it affects us all so differently. She was clearly a brave and very special woman. Condolences and love x
