waiting on scan results and been told I have to wait for mdt meeting on 25 August!

morning all 🥰 had a real down day yesterday as I'd had a scan Monday and oncology over the phone yesterday but with registrar who told me my scan results were not back so couldn't tell me anything! I'm 3 chemo's down and was told that then scan- results-4th chemo then operation if ready!I just want to know if the beast has shrunk! 2weeks for mdt means I'll probably be having 5th chemo. My ca 125 was down to 81 from 2098 on last chemo so do you think that's a good indicator of shrinkage?? I'm not peeing half as much and my hip pain has almost gone ? I just wanted some news to face last few rounds! Thanks all 🥰much love ❤️

Thats fantastic with your C.A 125 the chemo most certainly is working. I had what seemed like forever waits for MDT meetings but there important to us all the experts get there heads together and decide which is the best treatment for you all this is normal. I went through what your going through. But no doubt about it the chemo definitely working for you which believe me is brilliant. They have to get things right we all on here have our ups and downs were all the same. My advice to you is to try and stop worrying if you can, chemo takes itout of you, get your positive head on keep yourself well eat well dont think cancer all the time it gets you down. There will be a plan very soon and they will do everything necessary to keep you well. Next year when you've booked a holiday you'll look back and think life can get back to near normal. Believe me lve been through it in the past but lm still here to tell the

For some reason lve started going back to mass each week and l say a prayer for us all and light a candle in fact light lots of candles. You can do this there is light at the end of the tunnel believe me. Love SheilaFxxx

That ca125 result is spectacular! Waiting for decisions is always a bit painful and because people are away in August things can get delayed when they need everyone in the room. Try not to get disheartened, you are doing really well xx

Thank lyndy 🥰yes that ca level was after just 2 chemotherapy sessions so very happy with that just wanted a little more news about the tumours as I really want the operation but I know your right and I can't rush it 😀x

The waiting is always really hard, I am p learning the hard way to get on with life in between treatments and results. It’s all we can do! 💕

I know it's really upsetting when you think your getting results then nothing! I'm good in-between once the 1st week chemo passes! X

Sounds like the chemo is working really well. Try not to stress about the scan results. It won't make any difference except to make your next couple of weeks unhappy. Try distraction therapy! Sending hugs!

Just to add to what others have said, that drop in CA125 is amazing and it sounds as though chemo is doing its job. I know it's hard but just try and distract yourself as much as possible. Its the waiting that is the hardest isn't it? I have a feeling you will get good news about tumour shrinkage based on those results. Fingers crossed and good luck to you! xx
