Hi all , the cyst I had previously has gone , I now have a nearly 4cm ? Haemorrhagic cyst or endometrioma. My symptoms are the same - low back pain , frequent pressure to urinate , already difficulty with constipation so use an anal rectal washout system , bloating feeling , nausea and low pelvic pain which I’m taking Paracetamol for with no effect . Already on a NSAID .
My Consultant thinks I’m worrying about nothing and just said take painkillers- I feel a nuisance when trying to talk to him . I will be doing a private online postal ca125 to check for myself . Am I worrying about nothing .

Did your consultant order a transvaginal internal ultrasound? No your not worrying about nothing I'm not trying to scare you but they symptoms you have need to be addressed I would push ahead. I am an OC Survivor mine stemmed from silent Endometriosis only symptoms were constipation and frequent urge to urinate. Also endometriosis can make your CA125 spike. Push ahead. Let me know how your doing.
Hi yes he did , the sonographer recommended 6 week repeat to check the ovary but he says 3 months - seems too long to me , I’m also incredibly tired- nothing has changed to routine but tired from late afternoon, bit worried as I have 2 sons who need care so can’t afford for anything to be dismissed if you know what I mean , thank you
Hi Cathhunt,I agree with Lyndy be referred to a Gyno specialist I”m in the states we call them Gyno/Oncologist could be nothing hoping that’s the case OC is sneaky don’t put seeking a second opinion off time is of the essence with this crazy disease,
Hi Cath, could you ask to be referred to a gynae specialist centre for a second opinion? It’s fine to wait and see with minor conditions…but you don’t want to take any chances with OC. I would encourage you to be as much of a nuisance as you can! xx
I agree with the other ladies,it’s so important not to leave this, especially with your symptoms.Doctors do get things wrong and I think your definitely doing the right thing by persisting.
It doesn’t matter if your being a pain,it’s your health on the line not theirs.Good luck!
Go directly to an oncological gynecological specialist. CA125 is not elevated in early stages of ovarian cancer. TV ultrasound and abdominal ultrasound CANNOT DETECT early stage OC. Insist on answers and CT/PT scan. Get a second opinion from a specialist! I went to 5 docs and was fobbed off by each one. I have been fighting this disease for 7 years and am now stage 4.
