Taxol stopped

Taxol stopped as oncologist worried about another anaphylaxis as the rash on my face has become pretty bad, my last option is Vinorelbine wondering if any of you ladies had this...... Still praying for a trial.

Hi, I am sorry to hear that your taxol has had to be stopped,but safer of course. I cannot help you with Vinorelbine,but wish you well with it, & fingers crossed that you may get on a trial.

Hi Loren I've not heard of that drug but personally having had a grade 3 anaphalactic shock then I think your consultant has made the right call. I do hope you are able to get on to a trial soon. Big hug. Kathy xx

Thank you Kathy, I've had 3 anaphylaxis up to now 1st on carbo 2nd on carbo rechallenge and the 3rd on cisplatin although not as bad as the first two so yes think my oncologist is being pretty safe, just need to keep praying this vinorelbine will do a better job, running out of options, still got to keep hoping there is a trial that may take me..... Hope you are still doing well

Never had that. Did have taxotere when taxol burned my hands.
