Well Hello....
I have PPC 3C with positive PALB2 and high serious, only lesions on the abdomen but no other masses or tumors anywhere and a starting CA 125 258.
My treatment was 3 chemo with pax/carbo then debulking and then 3 chemo.
Well my last visit they wanted to defer my surgeon because my treatment went so well my numbers were down to a 41.5, then before my next treatment do another CA 125 with CT Scan then treatment then re-evaluation.
Well this week had my CT scan and blood tests. Got a call from my Oncologist today and told me no more Chemo - didn’t have to go in for treatment today, was In disbelief. Asked why, she said my 3 treatments did so well that they couldn’t believe that my CA 125 is now a 18 and my radiologist couldn’t believe that they couldn’t find anything on my CT scan. So now I will be having the debulking surgery later this month.
Still in shock, but wanted to thank all of you for the well wishes and prayers thru this journey. I know that it is going to be a long road, but having family/friends and support from you makes the journey infinitely better.
Cheers!!!!!
