Results !

Just spoke. To my consultant she said they have to have the multi team meeting on Wednesday to finalise the results etc but she wanted to speak to me after my panic this morning ! It’s a colonoscopy not endoscopy so I’m calmer about that as had one before and she said it’s precautionary but necessary !

It seems I have a rare form of low grade slow growing cancer orinigating from appendix called Pseudomyoma peritonei !!!? She said obviously it went to ovaries which is why the cyst turned into a tumour ! I’m still

Obviously concerned about the remaining small tumour on my spleen but she said I have to be referred to Basingstoke as they specialise in this type !

Anyone heard or had an experience of this?

It’s true how knowing some facts help the anxiety ! Xxx

Pleased you've spoken to the expert , knowing is always better than wondering ,you should have a better idea of the plan before the end of the week ,wishing you the best of luck .xx

There’s a good information sheet on cancer research U.K. about it and a friend on Instagram is member of an appendix PMP support group do worth googling that - I know she had what is known as the mother of all surgeries with radical debulking and internal chemotherapy at Basingstoke - she was stage 4 at diagnosis and is doing ok and currently on treatment break - wishing you well xx
