HI, I HAD GEMZAR/CARBO AND IT DID WORK. ONE TUMOR DISAPPEARED AND THE OTHER WAS DOWN TO 3MM. I AM NOW OFF CHEMO AND ON LYNPARZA (PARP DRUG). JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THIS COMBINATION IS NOT AS BAD AS TAXOL/CARBO. THE MAIN PROBLEMS I HAD WERE WITH MY LUNGS. I HAVE COPD TO START WITH AND I'M SURE THAT DIDN'T HELP. ALSO, MY PLATELETS NEEDED HELP ALONG THE WAY. ALL WAS EASILY REMEDIED. I HOPE IT WILL DO THE TRICK FOR YOU TOO. KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE GOAL AND REMEMBER WE'RE ALL PULLING FOR YOU!

Thank you so much Lee. I'm so glad that this combo was so effective for you. I'm sorry about your lung issues and platelets but so glad it was doable. I've been given filgrastim injections this week as my neutrophils were all over the place when I was on carbo caelyx last year. I'll keep my fingers crossed xxxx

Yes thanks . Feeling better since I stopped taking metoclopramide and enjoying this chemo free week. How are you doing?

Hi Sian

Glad your coping well, my treatment is not going that well. I saw the oncologist yesterday I had to be drained again last wke 7 litres ! So he doesn't think it's working I should be having no 4 fri bit am not eating so will have see.

Having a C T A in the next 2wks. Will keep you posted.
