Hi Jackie thanks for message and thinking of me. Bearing up considering! Night 18 in hospital tonight but been told they are aiming to discharge me next Thursday ...

I am on the TPN nutrition now and they are setting up for it to be delivered to home and a nurse to come each night to set it up, it is a bit of a life-changing thing but it means at least my body won’t be starving/dehydrated and whatever I can eat normally on top is a bonus. It is taking a while to get balance right tho as now a bit too much fluid so I have cankles and am getting ascites. So also have a perm drain that district nurses or in time I can use to keep that under control. Not the legs - will prob need lymphatic massage. My body has changed beyond recognition and I don’t really feel like me but hope to get more normality back once at home. As for treatment that still seems unlikely but if my liver mets progress too much I might have to try something. Sometimes still feels like this is happening to someone else, not me! But the staff and care here are excellent and i’ve had my lovely hubby. here all the time plus kids when they can and now friends have started coming up so feeling the love!!

I’ll try and do a post update soon. Hope things are comparatively ok with you?
