The very best of luck with the operation. Many people ( myself included) find that it's not half as bad as we feared.

There is another really good website called "hysterectomy forum" for ladies having the surgery. Half way down the home page is a section called "Monthly clubs" , you can join the relevant one and swap storeies etc etc.

Obviously you will be having more extensive surgery , you have had prior treatment and have had the shock of the diagnosis , so you need to rest even more than people without these issues.
