That’s great news . I see you have or still are on the COC protocol . Do you think this has made the difference ? I am constit at some point. 😊

I am still on the COC protocol, but it’s important to note that I started BEFORE & throughout chemo. So, I did not notice early side effects because I was so bloody ill with the chemo!!!

They also gave me dietary advice, including supplements & cutting glucose.

I will never stop unless I have to

That’s wonderful! I am very happy for you!!

May I know what kind of dietary advice they gave you please?

Sherrym profile image
Sherrym in reply toRachelwu

I did reply Rachel but I see it didn’t post.

Basically, cutting all white carb & sugar as much as poss. V little red meat & wine!! Yikes!

Off my own bat, I forage for seaweed, greens, mushrooms (fantastic over here!) grow tons, keep chickens, (good for when yr immune system is healthy again as keeping barnyard animals challenges it daily-yep, I believe everything I read!)add turmeric, pepper to something every day. Drink mixed green/black tea. Add soy beans/milk to stuff.

I dunno-quite enjoy mixing it up a bit. Think my family & friends sometimes a bit dubious about what I put in their plates, feel like an old witch at her cauldron!!!

Thank you for your valuable advice! I feel the same exact way too (witch brewing something in the kitchen!) when I try to change my family’s eating habit!! 😊

My onc doc told me I can eat anything and do anything, (and I know I should not be skeptical about what my doc tells me) but deep in my gut, a voice telling me to go more greens and less meat/sugar. 😆 I have read some articles and books about how going green is beneficial to our body, and I am still trying to find a balance point where it will be a best suit for my body. I will definitely incorporate the turmeric/black pepper tea in my diet! Thanks dear for your kind share!

Stay fierce, try eating ALL of nature’s own medicines in your food. Exercise with caution but enthusiasm. Does it work? Who knows? but at least, we can feel we are making some effort on our own behalf.
