I Just wanted to say a big thank you to all those who took time to reply to my post. Not only did you help me in a time of need. You also managed to save my wonderful wife's life. It turned out that her body was shutting down, the day I took in her to hospital they thought they were going to loose her. The Caelyx has not worked and because of her problem with the small bowel. She hasn't been getting the right amount of pain and sickness meds as the tablets have not been absorbed. She is now on a syringe driver and feeling much better. Her potassium level were low as they think the tumours could be affecting the kidney. The specialist is changing her chemo she will now have chemo once a week for three weeks and then one week off. We also have nurses coming to the house to keep an eye on Jo's meds.
Thanks again to all who replied

I didn’t post last time as there was nothing I could add after you reported that you were in A&E. I am pleased that you were able to get Jo sorted and that she is now on the correct medication.
With best wishes for her ongoing treatment, Ali
I am glad Jo is sorted with pain relief and that the chemo is changed to one which is hopefully more tolerable and will reduce the tumours, all the best
