Morning. Glad to hear you are doing ok!. I had several UTIs during chemo, not really sure what caused them tbh but they were a real pain but to answer your question it didn't affect me having chemo. Hope all continues to go well for you xx Kathy xx

I also had sever UTIs during chemo. It did not interfere with my treatment. Chemo went ahead anyways.

Hi Sheila I had a UTI a few weeks ago picked up by Christie’s on routine testing (I had no symptoms) I had antibiotics and it didn’t affect my chemo going ahead. I’m on antibiotics again this week for a tooth abscess and trials team have said chemo will still go ahead on Monday so you should be fine xx

What day are you there?

Glad you’re getting stronger, the discomfort in your tummy will go in time, it’s still relatively early days. I too had UTIs during chemo, I think they’re quite common, it made no difference at all to me having the treatment, just worth mentioning it at your next appointment. Good luck at Christies, I’m there Thursday for a check up. ❤️Xx Jane

Antibiotics did not stop treatment for me unless they were very strong and I don't think they are (like they were for me with C-diff) for a UTI so I think you're fine to move forward. Wishing you relief from the UTI and good luck with treatment! oxox
