Colostomy and iliostomy

I did in 30 january 2018 a big surgery - colostomy and iliostomy -

They resected a 10 cm from my rectum including the tumor

Then after two months i did closure iliostomy

Im fine for the moment with Some urinary infection, im under antibiotics medication.

This friday i have a meeting with my genycologist for checkup.

I did my ct scan last month It was very good result after surgery and nothing to worry.

But my CA 125 was elevated up to 17 !!!

You are doing SO well after so much surgery! It is really great that you’ve had such a good result from your CT & your CA125 level is good too.

Surgery and in fact an infection can cause a spike in your CA125 so I hope it settles down
