I got on this site before I realized it was for ovarian cancer. I e been getting emails off and on about things. No I did not have ovarian cancer. I had uterine. Total hysterectomy then chemo and internal radiation.
On the Taxol issue I see people cringe when they hear it. I had ifosfimide and Taxol at highest dose.
I saw people including myself not about to finish Taxol. I had slight emergency in the chair but got two whole rounds of it. It’s extremely harsh but needed. While I did not
Complete all of the Taxol in 2104 I’m here and fine and believe what I got of it was key.
I’ve seen questions sent to my email on Taxol before and decided I should say something. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the input. Endometrial and ovarian cancers are very closely related. Oncologists are still not 100% sure that what I have is ovarian cancer rather than endometrial and will probably never know. With respect to taxol my reaction was so severe within seconds of administering that it it was completely discontinued.
I am uterine 3a in America. Taxol/Carbo, pelvic radiation, and currently on second cycle of chemo, which will be a total of six doses. I too had bad episode first dose of Taxol, allergic reaction fixed with benydryl and more steroids. I pray that this will take care of mine as I don't want it ever again. Here we receive Neulasta after chemo to rebuild blood cells. I am able to work, fly, and travel. But the shot lays me flat with pain for five days. But my counts stay high. Hope for continuing Health for you.
