Just received appointment to see consultant on Friday post pet scan, I am anxious but also just glad I will know on Friday what my treatment plan will be.
My head is so pre occupied I forgot it’s our 26 wedding anniversary today, felt awful when hubby came home with flowers and a beautiful card. I go to work every day looking at my phone then rushing home to see if there is a letter from the hospital, then go and lie down as I feel so fatigued.

I'm sure your husband understands about forgetting your anniversary. Blame it on the fatigue.

I imagine you’re kicking yourself for forgetting, even though it’s so understandable. Make sure you celebrate, even if you prefer to wait until after Friday. Even if it’s a more subdued celebration, it’s a fantastic anniversary to have reached.

I’m sure Hubby understands. It’s so stressful all the waiting and wondering. Feels like nobody is in any particular hurry which isn’t great for our sanity
My appointment to finalise details for Avastin first dose was 23/03. Today they call and move it to 27/03. So Im on a limited time frame and they’re unfazed. Thinking we are on a different planet to them

He does Lily-Anne I just felt awful about it, it’s not fair on you changing your date it’s as if they don’t know our lives depends on them and anxiety it causes.
Wednesday will be a month to the day he said I was to have the pet scan.

Happy birthday Juliette, it’s not fair having to have chemo on your birthday, I remember two years this June getting chemo on hubbies 60th birthday, we celebrated two weeks after when I felt a bit better.
