So went to find out about the potential trial which was a phase 3 trial for the drug Mirvetuximab Soravtansine (IMGN853). It works by attaching itself to a protein on the surface of cancer cells which are folate receptors. You need to have recurred and shown in CT within 6 months of finishing last chemo and I’m 8 months. Never mind. Feel encouraged that it shows my oncologist (who I already loved anyway) is going to keep trying different things for me. Start Carbo/gem on the 21st.
Worried that my energy levels are so low already. Feel like I could just sleep all day. Starting regular acupuncture next week and looking into cbd oil. For those of you in the know - do you use a high strength one? Will it help with fatigue as well as pain and nausea?

The oil helps with pain and relaxation it also makes you hungry 😋 it’s definitely not a cure as my tumour has been creeping along despite my regular use. There are so many options it’s worth having a look at Rick Simpson website
Have you looked at the CRUK catalogue of trial options? There’s a lot recruiting at the moment
Sorry you did not get on to the trial... but really hope that your super Consultant thatvuou cdn find another?
I take CBD oil ( the legal one) and have tried different strengths, and yes I think it does help, but I’m not sure it helps me with fatigue. Have your tried Floradix? For fatigue? I’ve been trying that one week and also iron tablets and feel marginally better, although still very tired, I am managing to go things I was not doing last week.
Pm if you need help or have any questions if that’s easier?
