Hi,

To stop you worrying so much I think there could be many reasons why you are bloated. For years, every time I ate something common in everyday life I blew up like a balloon but didn't know I was intolerant to gluten until this year. I also get candida albicans quite a lot and that causes bloating - and wind!! Bread is the worst offender for gluten and candida for a lot of people. It's also been a week for indulging too much so I guess a lot of people are bloated at the moment.

HOWEVER!!!! Don't leave anything to chance. You are a special lady and you need to have your fears and worries resolved. See your GP toute suite or phone your clinic - I believe that's easy to do in UK. Have a word and get another CA125 done. I won't say, "Don't worry", because you will. We all do. Just take each day as it comes and try not to let your imagination run away with you. You have already gone through the worst with chemo etc. so I know you are tough. You may have/have had cancer but cancer doesn't have you. Remember that. It's something someone said about their MS and having MS myself it became my mantra. Now I use it for my fluff balls (my OC). Sometimes I have bad days, but that's allowed.

Please let us know how you are. Sending big cyber hugs and love.

I am stage 3c clear cell ovarian cancer survivor. 2014, since I have what's called lymphocele, i get fluid drained every 2 months. It's a cyst that builds up with lymphatic fluid. Mine keeps me bloated it's up against my bladder. It's not life threatening but a nuisance. It's common after major stomach surgery. Plus I have a lot of constipation issues. I take stuff for that. Hopefully this will put you at ease. Best wishes, Liz

Hi, Rossnbren and welcome to this wonderful site!

Sorry to hear about the bloating. Yes, it can be alarming especially if you had as one of the symptons right before discovering OC. I had it. Looked and felt like I was 9 months pregnant. About two years later, I had a tooth extracted and had to take a pain killer. Like all Opoids, it causes constipation which leads to bloating. I was beside myself, but, it turned out to be the constipation. Now I am about to have my second chemo for my first recurrence. You can bet I carry around Colace and Miralax with me at all times.

Try not to worry too much. You are in excellent hands and company!

Stay well and best wishes!
