Fluid leaking from belly button... What could this mean

Hello everyone just wpuld like to share what is going on with mom so that it may be of usefull information to someones life....

So abouy a week ago i noticed the belly button had very very minimal leakage. I attributed this to mom having an umbilical biopsy they did through her belly button. i figured it may have gotten infected from lotion we have been rubbing on her belly ( she is taking doxil and this causes dryness on area which have recieved radiation)

Yesterday she went to the gyno onc. Bc she noticed the leaking was worstening. They gave her some anti biotics which she was instructed take only if u have a fever and head straight to ER. Also instructed to stop acetaphetomine aka tylenol which she has been taking just about every 6 -8hours for a month now.

I think maybe she is having liver problems due to the continuous use of tylenol. We noticed she turned yellow skin and is pale last few days.

I am beyond scared that this is malignant ascites in the belly as I heard prognosis is very poor with this.

Tommorow we go for a CT scan and believe they will be draining belly

She has not had a fever but skin looks like jaundice and now more pale. Tummy is bloated. Leakage from belly button.

I guess this is the waiting game part.

Please comment if you experinced similar things assosiated with ascites in belly or tylenol overdose.

This is such an emotional roller coaster amd feels like this roller coaster is a new normal.

Ok sorry for the rant...

Stay strong beautiful ladies... Remeber God only wants good things for thoes who love him.

Hi, I have not had a similar experience, but feel your anxiety and just wanted to wish your Mom well with her CT scan. Once they determine the problem they will hopefully provide relief and get her back on the best path. Best Wishes.

So sorry to read about your Mum's problem. It's not something I've heard of before so I'm afraid I can only sympathise. Do hope it will be quickly sorted. She must be so happy to have such a caring Daughter.

Love to you both, Solange 😊
