You have been through a lot! I had a total hysterectomy end of June and suffered back pain for some time. Furthermore my pathology wait was just over six weeks and I was like a woman possessed! I'm normally quite the opposite. I really feel for you and sincerely hope you get some good news very soon. It is essential to take time to heal. We all try to rush around and," get back on track." Please allow yourself time and take very good care with plenty of rest. Easier said than done but, I wish I listened to such wise words from various people! Wishing you a good recovery. Best wishes,Clare x
Thank you so much I’m trying my best to take time to heal but easier said than done stay at home mum to three children youngest is 17 months so prob haven’t helped myself carrying him around ! I’m due to see the oncologist on 19th December so hoping I hear the pathology results before then but I suppose no news is good news as they say hope you are healing well after your hysterectomy x
Hi Clair, I'm sure you have heard this before, you have just been through a serious surgery you do need to be kind to yourself three weeks is still a short time.
As your GP said you have just had 2 surgery's in three month you need to recover.
Yes carrying your little one around is bound to be a contributing facter in your back pain.
Have you any support through the day?
My children are all married but when I read a post about younger women with small family's it much be so much harder trying to rest go to appointment and run a household.
I hope all goes well with your results. do try to take of yourself... Lorraine xx
My sister stayed with me for the first week after surgery to help me out my fiancé had no more holidays to take unpaid leave not an option.my older boys 13 and 10 have been a great help when they home from School my parents work so can’t help but I’m over the worst of it now I think here’s hoping !
You're found to feel tired after 2 surgeries. A few years ago I had 2 surgeries in just over 3 months &I a chest infection with the second. I felt really fed up & impatient to feel well & have more energy. And caring for toddlers can be tiring can't it? Then you're waiting for results too. Hope you soon feel better and get your results. Di
Thanks you I had a bad flu and chest infection after a week after the second surgery ! Was torture trying not to cough the pain was unreal I’m asthmatic so I’m used to chest infections but got it the day my sis went home and first full day minding baby on my own after surgery was a nightmare I’m not a cryer and I sobbed buckets that day feeling sorry for myself !
