My first scan post chemo..... Having left the house at 7.15 feeling a little wobbly like we do, DH driving us to hospital, arriving at 8.55 yes you read the timings correct I scoot into the scan reception desk and announce my presence. "Oh the scanner is broken but have a seat" was the friendly receptionist reply ๐ฎ now bear in mind I have been asked to drink a litre of water on route and sitting any longer is not going to work for me.... I can disco dance I said or pee... Lucky for me they let me pee. Phew. So we sat for an hour when the same friendly receptionist announced the scanner was not going to be fixed, go away and wait for another appointment. That was Friday and I have just done the same routine again.. Arriving this time to be told "oh your lucky and hour ago it broke down again" ๐ค.
I have had my scan...... Hurrah I hope
Now trying to keep busy until oncology on Tuesday...

Hope the results are ok. I had a NHS blip myself yesterday. They couldn't find my blood results so no time to dispense the chemotherapy. I had bloods on Monday and also yesterday. With my veins they should be grateful and more careful!๐ Have to go again on Friday so arranging lifts and all that jazz. Never mind the CT breaking down, what about us patients having a breakdown too. ๐
