I have just been to stay at the Penny Brohn centre in Bristol. They are a charity thar runs courses to help people with cancer. I was on the Living well with cancer course. I found the whole experience helpful. We discussed diet lifestyle & exercise.

Hi there, do you have to live near by or can anyone go from outside the area? I have heard of this course but because I live in Southampton thought it might be too far. If anyone can join I will look into it. Thank you for sharing that with us. Take care Cindyxx

Anyone can go Cindy xxx I have been 4 times and it is just incredible there I cannot recommend it enough.

I am glad you have enjoyed it, we also have a retreat area up in Mullingar run by Arc and its residential. I havent been to it but have heard good things about it. But it is a pain to get to it because its so far away

Anyone can go . Our course was residential for 2 days. We gave a donation to the charity.

This sounds good. My health insurers provide a small allowance towards this. I was thinking it might be helpful after my next bout of chemo is finished. Am hoping for an NED outcome, & think it may be of more help to me physiologically x

I've been several times to the Penny Brohn and like you I can't praise them enough for changing my lifestyle. I honestly believe that I would not be here now without their help. You must return. Linda x
