hello teal sisters, this time my cancer has returned to inside my bladder. My last bout with cancer was 2018. Has anyone ever had OVC go to bladder or would this be a whole new type of cancer? God Bless each of you. Take care Patsy

I am so sorry you have had so many reoccurrence of cancer. I am not sure if bladder cancer can be with ovc. I was told if mine came back it would not be kidney cancer, for example, that another organ would be it's own cancer. How are they going to treat this cancer? You are strong.... Couldn't be taken down before, you won't be taken down now. Praying for you.

Hello my5and13, thank you. I go to urology oncologist Tuesday and I’ll have more info. CT Scan I had last month with OC doctor didn’t pick this up. I started passing clots and excessive bleeding when I urinate, so went to ER. in hospital 4 days several test done plus blood work all were good. The on call doctor said she was not giving up till she found where all this blood was coming from. they done a urogram, found this. Next step is a Cystocopy at urology. God Bless XOXO Patsy

Hi Tabor. Ive started suddenly severe bleeding 3 weeks ago. I was on new med trail. They took me of this trial done CT. There was a 7cm leason in my vagina causing this bleeding with clots. They took me of trail and organised radio therapy. To zap this liason and then continue new chemo after.

thank you, praying for complete healing Best to you with the new trail meds. I’ll find more out in morning about my bleeding. They took me off Xarelto and for now bleeding stopped, but test showed something suspicious XOXOXO Patsy

hello organicinna if you had not been on trial meds that started the bleeding possibility they may not have found it in time. Thank the Lord. Least that’s the way I feel I had just started Xarelto due to Afib a month before the excessive bleeding and clots started. I thank the Lord He guides me every day. XOXO Patsy 🦋

No dear. Bleding happened because growing liason inside the vigana was pressing blood vessels. And trial drugs didn't helped that liason to shrink.Trial no trial bleeding still would happened.Today had last radio therapy session to zap that liason, and from 3d March new chemo drugs.

Hi Patsy. You certainly have been through a lot with cancer! This is probably a metastasis of OC but they’d have to do a biopsy to be sure. I think it’s not unusual for it to spread to the bladder or ureter but usually on the outside. I know during my debulking surgery they checked the inside of my bladder. I have no idea how they would treat it. I’m sending hopeful thoughts your way and hugs. Xx

Hi Tabor, I’m in this position too. Initially a small tumour developed in the outside of my bladder-this was removed but has since returned and is being treated as secondary to my oc. I’m currently on chemo and due for a scan this week so keeping fingers crossed for a good result from chemo.

Hello Rita, so sorry you are dealing with this again. Thanks for information. Did they classify this as OVC or bladder. (Wasn’t sure on secondary) praying the chemo kicks this. XOXO Patsy

Hello

Yes unfortunately the bladder is an area where OC recurs. My ovary was stuck to my bladder at my first surgery , they managed to separate the bladder from the tumour.

OC likes to stay in the pelvic area hence the spread initially to the pelvic organs. I don’t know how this is treated . Good luck with your treatment.

Wishing you great luck with surgery. I had cancer spread to outside of bladder at debulking surgery. Dr. thought she got it all, but some was left. It was present on ct scans, but did not light upon pet scans. So nothing was done. 5 yrs later, urologist took it out. I’m still doing well, 6 months on. Hope you will be too!
