Well I didn't know whether the cold cap was working. I hadn't lost much hair after the first few weekly taxols, or so I thought, till I had a bath instead of my usual shower and noticed I have very little pubic hair! So well done cold cap you're worth the shivering.

I indulged a bit of intrusive speculation about your bathroom habits, but I am not the tabloid press, and will not go into them!

That is a very good result and worth the cold cap. At the moment feel so sorry for my niece. She doesnt have OC but developed swollen lymp nodes in her neck area and hair loss. Her bloods are all clear and yesterday she saw general surgeon and was told they feel the swelling is benign. They are referring her to a dermatologist for hair loss issue. Of course I did google and came up with Lupus but her bloods are negative for that. Having had hair loss with chemo I know what she is going through. She is 37 years of age three young children and a demanding mother. So it could be stress it wait and see what the medics come up with. I wish I could help here but apart from directing her to a hair loss place, I feel helpless.

Cold cap is working for me too! I am 5 weeks in from my first chemo and even my hair shedding has reduced substantially! Still have a full head of hair.
