bone biopsy

hello

stage iv here, on doxil folowing the usual first trx. steps. am now scheduled for a bone biopy as i have recently broken 2 thoracic vertbrae without any precedent trauma.

anyone have oe of these? am quite worried about the pain and general unplesantry associated with these procedures?

would be grateful for any advice.

I haven't had this Kagan but have got dx with osteoporosis as chemo had ripped out my bone density..is this a possibility for you too? xx

Hi Kagan I my bone density scan showed stress fractured in thorac region, I had to have an xray to confirm. I am now on Fosavance for bone thinning. I hadnt biopsy as xray didnt show metasis. Due to family history I have to go on the meds now. I am also advised a yogurt a day and exercise. My gp feels its all down to the chemos
