Hi,

In relation to the ca-125 test - how long after chemo No.1 was it done? It may be that the chemo hadn't been in your system long enough for it to show a reduction. Try not to worry, you may not see a reduction until you've had several cycles.

My 125 went up after chemo 1 and lots of things can influence it so although it's hard not to, please try not to worry.

How are you feeling in yourself? After my 1st chemo, it only went down by a few points, but I was feeling sooooo much better. My onc said that going by the symptom improvement was good enough for her. By the next test after chemo 2, my CA125 had pretty much halved.

Like Clare says, try not to worry. Xx

Sometimes the chemo sends the 125 upwards to come down again. It is far too early to get negative about it, you need to be at least half way through after three treatments before you see results that are worthwile, Dont be worrying, the onc wouldnt have given you this treatment unless he know it would work,
