Not that I am going anywhere any time soon but hoping next Summer. Has anyone found it easy/difficult to get cover? I was diagnosed with stage 1c ovarian cancer, currently having 6 cycles of Carboplatin, finish in Jan. My husband is in remission from stage 4 bowel cancer, his 6th year and still gets denied cover or its extortionate! Thank you.

Our travel insurance is with the bank, I rang them and told them I'd had cancer and it stayed the same just not covered for any cancer related treatment.

I can get cover through my bank if I pay in £750 a month. I'm thinking of setting up transfers between mine and my husbands account just so I qualify. The £750 doesn't have to stay in the account for any time so it could be worth looking into.

I got insurance through Insurance With - £40 for a week. Was getting quotes for £800, so this was far more reasonable! You can request a quote online and the questions are comprehensive. Good luck!

Hi I had cover with MIA Insurance (for cancer patients) and went to Cyprus in August after chemo but still on Avastin. I spoke with someone and went through all my diagnosis and for a week it was £80. All the best Love Michelle x

Thanks Valo that is excellent, I will remember that. Did you enjoy the cruise, I would love to do one, I live 6 miles from Dover so would be easy to jump aboard there! Hope you are well. xx
