I wouldn't worry too much about your CA125...the scan is going to tell you more about what's actually going on inside. My ca125 took ages to drop but they could see that everything was shrinking inside.

It's is early days...although you probably feel that you've been doing it for ages!

Your job is to keep yourself safe and as healthy as you can while they do the poisoning...that's how my onc describes it!

All the best with it..I will keep everything crossed for you! Lyndall xx

Thank you very much Lindy, your wods are very encouraging.

HI Leonorame, Remember you got the result after two chemos not three so try not to worry. For some bizarre reason mine rose after the second treatment and then came down again so the chemo can play tricks on us. I remember getting a phone call from the Reg and then I rang the Onc Cns and she said it could be anything even a problem in the labs which in fact there was at that time. So you are half way there from now on things will go well, best wishes

My CA 125 went up at one point during chemo, and afterwards, though now it's falling. My oncologist said the most important thing was the CT scan and how I am feeling.

leonorame, my CA125 rose after the first treatment almost 300 points! After that it began to plunge rapidly and was in the normal range at end of chemo. Tesla

Hello, my CA125 went up after my first treatment with caelyx but is down after the second. I read somewhere that the cancer cells can release CA125 as they die. I don't know whether that's true x
